Attend the June 5, 2025 meeting of the State Board of Land Commissioners if you can. If the meeting stays in Cheyenne, CMPA will have carpooling opportunities leaving Paradise Valley Liquors at 5:00 AM.

Casper Mountain Preservation Alliance was voted 2024 Runner-Up in the non-profit category!

In 2023, Prism Logistics was issued and has already utilized their Exploratory License in each qtr/qtr section of SEC.1/2-T32-R80W and SEC.36/35/34-T32-R80W. This amounts to thousands of acres of leased land that expands across the foothills at the base of Casper Mountain. These leases expire in 2025. Prism Logistics has applied for leases to continue through 2027.

Protect and Preserve Lands: Ensuring the safeguarding of lands from industrial impacts.
Promote Wildlife Conservation: Enhancing habitat quality and biodiversity.
Facilitate Positive Recreational Use: Encouraging responsible recreation in harmony with nature.
Encourage Good Stewardship: Fostering responsible use and protection of natural resources.
Protect Air Quality: Advocating for clean air and minimal pollutants.
Preserve Water Resources: Safeguarding vital water resources for all.

Advocacy and Legal Action: Active involvement in legal and policy advocacy to protect Casper Mountain.
Community Engagement: Building a community of supporters through outreach and education.
Research and Monitoring: Conducting research to inform conservation strategies
Partnerships and Collaboration: Working alongside various stakeholders for shared goals.
Public Education and Awareness: Raising awareness about the importance of conservation.
Long-term Conservation Planning: Developing strategies for the ecosystem's resilience and sustainability.
